Business Development Manager

Client Details
Our client is the recruitment arm of a multinational engineering and construction company headquartered in the US. They are seeking an experienced recruiter who is sales focused to win new project based business.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Arranging and attending client meetings in order to develop business opportunities.
- Cold calling new and lapsed clients in order to win business.
- Work closely with the bids and tenders team as and when PSL agreements are coming up for renewal.
- Attending industry networking events.
- Working to and achieving budgeted sales targets.
- Representing the corporation in a professional and positive manner at all times.
- Plan and organise weekly/monthly itinerary.
- May need to travel to attend business meetings from time to time.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience of working in a niche staffing sector such as engineering, manufacturing, automotive, life sciences or pharmaceutical.
- A thorough understanding of contract/temporary recruitment.
- Able to demonstrate sales and business development success within the staffing environment.
- An understanding of how to win large scale project based recruitment projects.
- Excellent written skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to communicate with audiences at a senior stakeholder level.
- A team player who is self-motivated and driven.
