EDUCATION, BUSINESS EXPERIENCE AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

3 – 5 years of professional experience as an accountant, auditor, or computer programmer analyst, financial analysist, OR valid Certified Public Accountant certificate with at least three years of professional experience as an accountant, auditor, or computer programmer analyst.

GL and monthly closing experience preferred

Sales, revenue, and customer analysis experience preferred

Expense analysis experience preferred

Salesforce or other CRM experience preferred

ERP system experience preferred

Proficiency in MS Excel

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with others. Self-starter who has experience with developing or improving financial, internal control, and analysis processes. Must have experience working with accounting and ERP systems. Experience with the implementation of accounting systems or ERP systems is a plus. Ability to manage transactional functions such as AP, AR, collections, and billing is a plus. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Primarily responsible for working with CFO in supporting all facets of Finance and Accounting for the company.

Responsible for maintaining and improving financial and internal control process with a heavy emphasis on analysis controls.

Responsible, with the assistance of the CFO, for monthly results analysis and reporting.

Assist the CFO to accurately plan, budget and forecast the business.

Work directly with Senior Management of the company from all departments to manage goal-based reporting and analysis.

Understand and analyze complex business, customer, product development, and supply chain processes, analysis, and improvement to achieve company goals.

Understand and develop strong comprehension of the devices we manufacture.

Understand and develop strong comprehension of the supply chain needed to produce our products.

Understand the diseases our customers face and how our products assist in their patient care.

Reviews complex financial accounting work processes, systems, and procedures for efficient workflow and conformity with accounting principles.

Reviews the internal controls and security of all automated accounting applications to ensure conformity with auditing standards.

Performs other duties as assigned.
