Wholesale Account Executive – NYC


Our Wholesale sales team is looking for a dynamic Wholesale Account Executive to drive Domestic and International Wholesale business. The right candidate will be a self-motivated, sales-oriented dynamo with a broad base of existing relationships within the industry.


Responsibilities:

  • Directly responsible for account management of domestic specialty retailers.
  • Grow account base by prospecting and developing excellent working relationships with outside buyers.
  • First point of contact for client queries such as RA request, reorders, repairs, assortment curation.
  • Manage, track, and ensure shipment of all orders.
  • Strategize and execute on new business opportunities alongside VP of Wholesale
  • Manage existing business including driving performance, re-orders, managing risk and liability, tracking shipping and selling.
  • Schedule/conduct product presentations for clients for both new and existing product collections
  • Reporting and consistent analysis to empower client and brand decisions and strategies.
  • Partner with Visual team to develop & implement retail specific visual merchandising guidelines and communicate all wholesale parameters on an ongoing basis.
  • Represent brand at tradeshows and events.
  • Build and update WTD, MTD, & YTD sales reports
  • Partner with clients to ensure sales associates have been trained on product and visual merchandising guidelines to strengthen business performance and retain brand positioning and brand messages.
  • Travel to select markets to develop relationships and work with accounts.


Qualifications/Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 – 3 years of work experience in apparel, home industry, or similar field
  • Familiarity with retail math, good analytical, planning, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Must be capable of learning new systems quickly such as extranets, UPC code systems, GXS catalog, NetSuite, and NuOrder.
  • Outstanding problem solving skills and solution based
  • Must have strong initiative, high energy, strategic thinking and be detail oriented.
  • Polished verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and focus and provide complete follow through on all aspects of responsibility.
  • Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to work with all levels within and outside the company
