Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our team in New York. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wholesale account management within the beauty industry, with a proven track record of driving sales and building successful partnerships with key retailers.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive growth within assigned wholesale accounts.
  2. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing retail partners, serving as the main point of contact for account-related inquiries and activities.
  3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and acquiring new wholesale accounts.
  4. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external teams to ensure seamless execution of account initiatives and promotions.
  5. Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for optimization and expansion within existing accounts.
  6. Assist in preparation of sales reporting, line reviews, and business showcasing product assortment, promotions, and marketing support.
  7. Assist in negotiating pricing, terms, and promotional strategies with retail partners to maximize profitability and drive mutual growth.
  8. Stay informed about industry trends and market developments to inform sales strategies and business decisions.
  9. Attend market appointments, retailer meetings and store training as required to represent the business and build meaningful relationships
  10. Assist in providing regular reporting and updates to clients on sales performance, account activities, and market insights.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in wholesale account management within the beauty industry, preferably with a focus on CPG.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building successful partnerships with key retailers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software.
  • Proficiency in NuOrder a plus.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed for market appointments, retailer visits and store training.
