Location: Doral, FL 33172

Salary: $40K – $70K Depending on Experience + Benefits

Role Summary: As an Aviation Production Coordinator, you will be crucial in scheduling and managing engine repairs to meet both company and customer expectations. You'll coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth and timely operations, overseeing every aspect of the repair process.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review Repair Scopes: Understand repair requirements and customer deliverables.
  • Coordinate Materials: Work with purchasing and support teams to ensure all materials are ordered and prioritized.
  • Manage Work Orders: Ensure internal and external repair work orders are in place, pushing priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Resource Allocation: Collaborate with department supervisors to ensure resources are available and tasks are completed on time.
  • Stage Engine Modules: Prepare engine modules for assembly based on daily and weekly priorities.
  • Report Progress: Send weekly progress reports and distribute discrepancy reports.
  • Participate in Meetings: Join production, induction, and gates meetings, and follow up on processes.
  • Develop Plans: Create work-around plans to address capacity surges and expedited delivery needs.
  • Ensure Availability: Make sure all parts, materials, and tooling are available for planned tasks.
  • Compliance: Follow FAA and quality standards, and recommend process improvements.
  • Collaborate with Mechanics: Set delivery expectations with mechanics and lead them when modules are ready for disassembly or assembly.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Production Planner or Coordinator.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in the MRO Aviation industry, particularly with CFM56 engines.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • 1 year of experience with CFM56 engines (Preferred)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with Quantum aviation software (Preferred)
  • Business proficiency in Spanish.
