Job Description -


We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Power BI Dashboard Expert with a strong background in finance and operations to join our team.


The ideal candidate will have expertise in data sourcing, big data management, and Power BI dashboard creation, with a keen understanding of financial principles and business acumen. This individual will be responsible for independently sourcing and managing financial data, as well as designing and developing intuitive and visually appealing dashboards using Power BI to drive informed decision-making.


Responsibilities:


  • Independently source, extract, and manage financial and operational data from multiple sources, including but not limited to databases and spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Clean, transform, and prepare financial data for analysis and visualization, with a focus on key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to finance and operations.
  • Design and develop interactive and visually compelling dashboards using Power BI to present finance and operational insights, such as revenue, expenses, profitability, and operational efficiency metrics.
  • Collaborate with finance and operational stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective dashboard solutions that address business objectives.
  • Optimize dashboards for performance, usability, and accessibility across different devices and platforms, ensuring alignment with financial reporting standards.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in financial analysis, data visualization, and business intelligence, applying new knowledge to enhance dashboard functionality and usability.
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in finance, data sourcing, big data management, and Power BI dashboard creation, with a strong understanding of financial principles and operational metrics.
  • Proficiency in excel and SQL for financial data querying and manipulation, with a solid grasp of finance-related calculations and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data sets and derive actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with finance and operations teams to translate business requirements into dashboard solutions.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision, while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
