Position Type: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Experience a Plus


Compensation: $20.00 - $22.50 per hour based on relevant experience

What You’ll Be Doing:

As the Human Resources / Onboarding Specialist, you will manage key HR functions, ensuring both new hires and current employees have a positive and smooth experience. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Onboarding & Pre-Hire Process: Lead and coordinate the pre-hire process, including background checks, document collection, and orientation to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new team members.
  • HRIS System Management: Utilize Paylocity and other HRIS systems to maintain accurate employee profiles, track documentation, and ensure data integrity.
  • File Management & Compliance: Keep employee records organized and compliant with company policies and legal requirements.-Ensure all documents are scanned, filed, and maintained in a timely manner.
  • Serve as a friendly, approachable point of contact for employees’ HR-related questions, providing guidance on policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Support the HR team with clerical tasks, including document preparation, scheduling appointments, and processing requests.
  • Assist with planning and executing employee events such as benefits enrollment, recognition ceremonies, holiday parties, and more to keep morale high.
  • Perform regular audits of HR files and records to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely follow-up on missing documentation.
