Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager with a proven track record in sales and extensive experience in light industrial staffing. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of selling staffing services across various sectors, including light industrial, construction, distribution companies, and food and beverages. The role requires strong outside sales experience, the ability to build and maintain a book of business, and the tenacity to knock on clients' doors to generate new business opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:


Sales and Business Development:


  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the light industrial, construction, distribution, and food and beverage sectors.
  • Engage in outside sales activities, including cold calling, client visits, and networking to generate leads and close deals.
  • Maintain and grow a book of business, fostering long-term relationships with key clients.


Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored staffing solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any issues promptly.


Market Analysis and Strategy:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Develop market intelligence to identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales and promotional materials.


Reporting and Administration:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline management using CRM tools.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
  • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.


Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the light industrial staffing industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in selling staffing services across light industrial, construction, distribution companies, and food and beverages sectors.

Skills:

  • Strong outside sales experience with the ability to knock on clients' doors and generate new business.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain a book of business.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
