Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an Assistant Benefit Technology Account Manager at Black, Gould & Associates in Phoenix, AZ. The Account Manager will be responsible for supporting groups and brokers using enrollment technology applications (Ease, Employee Navigator, etc.) by connecting internal resources with group clients, carrier partners, and integration teams.  


Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Work closely with team members on customer-specific initiatives that involve troubleshooting, support, integration and necessary client modifications
  • Resolve, analyze or research problems and client needs to proactively provide for the client’s retention and growth
  • Serve as the primary resource for group client enrollment software questions or support
  • Work with Product Manager to ensure resources across the Company are collaborating to support customer needs
  • Create documentation for future reference, training and support purposes
  • Submit tickets to enrollment software to resolve issues or answer questions
  • Track status of EASE site builds, enrollment progress, and support tickets, using Project Management software


Qualifications

  • Familiarity with group industry terms and applications
  • Experience in using enrollment software and technology and high comfort level working with Microsoft products
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience in customer service related communication
  • Experience in collaborating on multiple projects with some remote team members
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Good time-management skills
  • Require little to no supervision
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Current Arizona Health and Life License a plus
