Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, general ledger analysis, and the monthly accounting close process.
  • Maintain the financial structure within the accounting information systems.
  • Drive continuous improvements in accounting processes, controls, and policies.
  • Manage the recruitment, development, and retention of IT personnel in alignment with corporate objectives and policies.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and technologies, providing insights to executives regarding their competitive and financial implications.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards in IT operations.
  • Guarantee the delivery of exceptional IT services to end users through effective oversight and performance monitoring.
  • Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to define business and system requirements for new technology projects.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to formulate and implement a comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity strategy.
  • Develop justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT investments and initiatives.
  • Work with IT management to create, monitor, and manage the annual operating and capital budgets for information technology.
  • Identify opportunities for strategic and cost-effective investments in IT resources, including staffing and technology procurement.
  • Assist in establishing departmental goals, objectives, and operational procedures.
  • Engage in strategic and operational planning to align IT initiatives with business objectives, fostering innovation and prioritizing projects.
  • Manage the execution of business and project plans, ensuring alignment with departmental strategies and budgets.
  • Acquire necessary resources for departmental projects and manage vendor relationships effectively.
  • Address business challenges through analysis, recommendations, and project leadership for technology implementations and process enhancements.
  • Be available for after-hours and weekend work as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 15 years of experience in a technology-focused role.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in managing IT teams.
  • Proven experience in overseeing technology projects and initiatives.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of networking, security, and telecommunication systems.
  • In-depth understanding of networking standards, protocols, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with various hardware and software platforms.
  • Working knowledge of databases, scripting, and web technologies.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft operating systems and applications.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership and team-building skills.
  • Proven ability to manage personnel and vendor relationships effectively.
  • Ability to mentor and develop future leaders within the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present to senior management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a computer-related discipline.
  • ITIL or equivalent certifications.
  • MCSE certification or similar credentials.

Travel Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel up to 35% of the time.

Language Proficiency:

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work Environment: Primarily office-based.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. occasionally.
  • Involves carrying, walking, pushing, climbing, and reaching.
