Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, the ability to handle ad hoc duties, and a passion for people.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assistance with the Employee Onboarding Process: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  2. Implementation of Company Training and Work Plans: Assist in the development and implementation of company training programs and work plans to ensure employees are equipped with the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively.
  3. Managing Benefits Administration: Have experience in administering employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-provided benefits.
  4. Planning Employee Initiatives: Assist in planning and executing employee initiatives aimed at fostering a positive and engaging work environment.
  5. Ensuring Compliance: Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
  6. Handling Visa Processes: Assist in obtaining visas for employees as needed, ensuring compliance with immigration laws and regulations.
  7. Ad hoc responsibilities: Assist the administration team with other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Human Resources Generalist or similar role.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills.
  • Self- starter.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • SHRM-CP a plus.

Experience with Paylocity (or similar payroll platform) a plus.
