Job Description:

Liberty Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resource Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various HR functions, including but not limited to: offers, onboarding, processing background checks, data entry management of employee profiles in our HRIS system (Paylocity), managing employee issues, and terminations. This position will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless HR operations within the dynamic political canvassing industry.

This role will be managing large volume, short-term cyclical hiring processes based on referrals from our clients and outside partners; and the environment will often be fast-paced and ever-changing while demanding very strong attention to detail at all times.


Key Responsibilities:

  • the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary tasks are completed accurately and timely, including manual entry or check-off, while providing updates to clients at every step of the way.
  • background checks for candidates in accordance with company policies.
  • and continuous maintenance of employee data in the HRIS system (Paylocity), including personal information, pay information, locations, titles, client codes, and state and federal taxes to ensure proper payroll set-up as employees are hired and move between states for shifting 30-60 day deployments.
  • in the creation and distribution of offer letters, employment contracts, and other HR-related documents.
  • as a liaison between Liberty Staffing and external vendors, ensuring smooth communication and timely delivery of services.
  • support to clients (canvassing firms and political campaigns) and constant communication during the onboarding processes.
  • with the COO to improve HR processes and procedures overall.
  • spending with vendors and assist in organizing QBO (QuickBooks Online) transactions.
  • confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive employee information and client data.


Qualifications:

  • degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • years of prior experience in HR Coordination or an HR administrative support role within a fast paced and dynamic environment is required.
  • be ideologically aligned with center-right politics, and comfortable working with clients who may, at times, hold differing political views from oneself.
  • with HRIS systems, particularly Paylocity, is a plus.
  • with QBO (QuickBooks Online) is a plus.
  • attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • communication and interpersonal skills.
  • to multitask is KEY, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • understanding of HR principles and procedures
  • in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
