Description

The Senior IT Contracts Specialist will collaborate directly with IT stakeholders and key business partners to oversee, guide, and execute IT contracts. Additionally, this role will lead our client's technology vendor evaluation process using OneTrust, working closely with the in-house legal team for contract reviews and approvals.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of project contracts, including terms and conditions, payment schedules, and scope of work
  • Lead negotiations with counterparties and manage a variety of legal agreements, including customer-facing purchase agreements, subcontracting agreements, non-disclosure agreements, partnership agreements, and statements of work
  • Collaborate with the business development and legal teams to streamline the contract management workflow, which includes administering a database of contract templates and work requests, and allocating resources based on deal priority and deadlines
  • Proactively identify opportunities to shorten contracting cycles and improve contract templates
  • Develop strong working relationships with colleagues across departments and educate the business development teams on key contract terms in various templates and the company’s document execution policy


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • 5 years of relevant experience in IT and business/industry, with a focus on managing contracts and leading negotiation processes
  • Demonstrated leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to create and deliver effective presentations and materials for senior executives
  • Experience with Vendor Management Systems, preferably OneTrust and Monday.com but will consider similar systems
