About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Specialist to join our team at Pike Corporation. As a Contract Specialist, you will play a critical role in assisting with estimating, proposal development, and procurement of master service agreements and site-specific projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with estimates and proposals for site-specific projects and master service agreements
  • Review project plans and specifications and coordinate with the project team to confirm complete scope
  • Participate in customer pre-bid meetings and identify risk issues and their order of magnitude
  • Solicit subcontractor and/or supplier information and pricing
  • Build effective relationships with customers, design teams, specialty contractors, suppliers, and user groups
  • Assist with contract negotiation and work with project teams to establish the system to carry out the contract
  • Manage and support emergency and storm restoration events
Requirements
  • 4-year college degree preferably in engineering or business management
  • Strong mathematical, communication, and computer skills
  • Knowledge of project management fundamentals
  • Working knowledge of personal computers and software applications with MS office application proficiency
  • Demonstrated skills in written and oral communications
  • High energy level with the ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Proven success in developing and maintaining internal and external relationships
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills
