Job Overview

We are seeking a Contract Support Specialist - Standard | Comprehensive Operational Support [DEA0010019] to provide professional, technical, and administrative support services in the Defense and Security Industry Sector, focusing on Human Capital Solutions for clients such as the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the Department of Justice.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Review Request for Contract packages, solicitations, and contract files.
  • Conduct market research.
  • Review Cost/Price proposals and/or quotes.
  • Prepare reports, document findings, and other supporting documentation.
  • Process orders and contract modifications.
  • Maintain official documentation in files in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and office procedures.
  • Handle actions related to pre- and post-award.
  • Prepare required correspondence.
  • Update systems as required by the FAR and office procedures.
  • Review documents and provide feedback as necessary.
Qualifications

Desired qualifications for the Contract Support Specialist - Standard | Comprehensive Operational Support [DEA0010019] include:

  • In-depth knowledge of Federal Contracting, including the FAR and other regulations.
  • Hands-on experience demonstrating expertise in contracting and procurement.
  • Experience in establishing and implementing U.S. Government acquisition programs and policies.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of Contracting and procurement, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience (7 years of directly related experience will substitute for education).
  • Proficient knowledge of Federal Contracting, including the FAR and other regulations.
  • Hands-on experience demonstrating proficient expertise in one or more functional areas related to contracting and procurement.
  • Experience in establishing and implementing complex U.S. Government acquisition programs and policies.
  • Professional training and certifications.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years' experience in the field of Contracting and procurement, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience (7 years of directly related experience will substitute for education). FAC-C or DAWIA Certification in Contracting is strongly preferred.
