Support Engineer

*This position will be mostly remote 6pm-2am with an occasional on site day shift when needed*
- Responsibilities: Provide night support to other Engineers on installing, configuring, and testing of point-of-sale systems server equipment, cables and security cameras. This may entail multiple stores per night
- Provide report of nightly install
- Follow Company protocols
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during installation
- Collaborate with Project Team for rectifying install issues and providing feedback on improving documented procedures
- Update and provide feedback on existing documentation and Current Best Practices
- Own Open issues and track towards eventual rectification
- Supervise fellow installers to complete work in a timely manner
- May involve some lifting, carrying of equipment and travelling to actual stores
- Qualifications: Prior experience in installing and configuring tech equipment including Point of Sale systems, server racks and network switches
- Strong understanding of basic technical concepts.
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead Zoom meetings
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building rapport.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Physically fit to perform the requirements of the job, which may include travelling, lifting, bending, and reaching.
