ROLE: Texas Market Manager

TERRITORY: Houston Based-Must be in the Houston, TX area

This role is a combination of our ‘feet on the street’ in the Texas and a Key Account Manager. Calling directly on Key and developing accounts, and collaborating with our distributor partners to drive results in the General Market for On Premise (25%) and Off Premise(75%) (Off-Premise experience is required). The Market Manager role also has the added responsibility of managing all activity and working closely with Distributor leadership in Texas.


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:


  • Build and maintain relationships with SGWS Gen Market Teams from RVPs, DM, AMs, Regional Accounts, Tel Sales and Merchandising teams.
  • In the field several days a week selling to accounts, working with the Distributor and presenting at team meetings.
  • Build and maintain relationships with 25-50 targeted accounts that are advocates for Cooper Spirits.These will be your Cooper Crew Champions accounts. 75% Off premise and 25% On premise
  • Your self-directed initiatives, strong analytical and problem-solving skills will create unique account driven programs that support your critical SGWS key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams in marketing, operations, and management to maximize revenue growth, depletions, re-order rates and increase velocity in key accounts to identify trends, call out risk and envision unique opportunities for success
  • Manage regional budgets to support the market to drive brand awareness
  • Manage and execute any consumer events
  • Maintain a high level of organization so your weekly, monthly and quarterly preplans deliver focused results that are aligned with the Region and national goals.
  • KPI tracking for sales depletions, display activation, account programming, will be part of your daily job responsibilities.
  • Work with accounts to develop menu and Feature placements for Slow and Low.
  • Utilizing Cooper Spirit POS in accounts for brand visibility and consumer pull.
  • Track your progress daily, with weekly recaps through Karma.


QUALIFICATIONS:


  1. Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent work experience.
  2. Min 6 years of experience in the Beverage Alcohol business.
  3. Passion for winning, a results-oriented attitude, with a thoughtful approach to problem solving with a solution in hand and positive energy.
  4. Deep understanding of market and industry trends.
  5. Strong budget management skills necessary.
  6. Ability to work remotely, with flexible hours and travel on an ad hoc basis including nights and weekends may be required.
