Position Overview:

As a Workato Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the integration and automation initiatives using the Workato platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain integrations between various systems and applications. Your role will involve working closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, developers, and administrators to ensure the successful implementation of integration workflows and optimal utilization of Workato's capabilities.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead Workato Integration Projects: Take ownership of end-to-end integration projects, from requirements gathering to implementation and maintenance. Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand integration needs and design efficient workflows.
  • Workato Workflow Design: Design and configure integration workflows (recipes) in Workato to connect multiple systems, applications, and APIs. Identify triggers, actions, and data transformations required to achieve seamless data flow and process automation.
  • Integration Development: Develop custom integrations using Workato's connectors and APIs. Write and optimize scripts, expressions, and formulas for data mapping, validation, and transformation. Ensure adherence to best practices for security, scalability, and performance.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of developers and administrators working on Workato projects. Collaborate with solution architects to define integration standards, patterns, and governance processes.
  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve issues related to integration workflows, data synchronization, and system connectivity. Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to enhance the reliability and stability of integrations.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, solution architects, developers, and administrators, to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment on integration objectives and timelines.
  • Documentation and Training: Create and maintain technical documentation, including integration design specifications, configuration guides, and troubleshooting procedures. Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate users and stakeholders on Workato best practices and capabilities.
  • Stay Updated on Workato Enhancements: Keep abreast of the latest features, enhancements, and best practices in the Workato platform. Evaluate and recommend new technologies or connectors that can improve integration capabilities.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven 10+ years of experience in designing and implementing integrations using the Workato platform.
  • Must have Automation Pro III certification
  • Strong understanding of integration concepts, patterns, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Workato recipes, connectors, expressions, and scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Ruby).
  • Experience with REST and SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and other data formats.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based applications and platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Zendesk, and others.
  • Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership qualities and the ability to mentor and guide a team.
  • Relevant certifications in Workato or other integration platforms are a plus.
