Sales Administrator


Jacobson, a dominant Northeast Floral Wholesaler, is a Well Established (80 years in business), Dynamic, Profitable, company. We have an opening for a Sales Administrator.

This position is full-time with benefits – medical, dental, 401(k) match, vacation, holidays, etc.

You, as the successful candidate, will support the sales management team by performing various customer service and administrative tasks. You will have excellent time management, communication, and organization skills. Besides the above attributes, you will also possess a positive attitude, professional demeanor, and the ability to problem-solve with minimal guidance. Your primary areas of responsibility will be in computer skills; data entry, spreadsheet management, and digital filing and organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the creation of basic sell sheets, price lists, and product presentation documents in either Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
  • Manage all data entry for sales management including product information, CRM activity, etc. and prepare reports using CRM and ERP data.
  • Organize and maintain physical and digital materials for the sales department via project management software and cataloging.
  • Act as the point of contact between executives, employees, clients, and external partners.
  • Manage calendars, agendas, and notes for various meetings. Manage the details and arrangements for sales team meetings and company events such as tradeshows, open houses, client meetings, etc.
  • Assist the sales department with order entry, invoicing, and other tasks as needed.
  • Support the marketing department by proofing sales materials and communications


Requirements

  • Strong computer skills including Outlook, Excel, and Google Suite.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or support role is required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and over the phone.
  • Previous experience in a sales or customer service role is a bonus.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and attention to detail.
  • Experience with a CRM is preferred.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
