Job Overview:

We’re on the hunt for an energetic, analytical and creative Assistant Marketing Manager to join our stellar team If you're passionate about audience development, results-driven innovative marketing strategies, and are meticulous about details, this is the role for you. A fascination with satellite and space technology is a bonus Reporting to the Satellite Group Marketing Director, as the Assistant Marketing Manager you'll play a pivotal role in acquiring, engaging, converting, and monetizing our audience by elevating our reach and presence in the industry, securing strategic media and event partnerships, and helping our sales team prospect and engage new and existing clients.


Key Responsibilities:


Audience Development: Develop and execute strategies to acquire, engage, convert, and monetize our audience. Utilize a mix of digital marketing, content marketing, and social media to expand our reach and deepen audience engagement.


Editorial Content Marketing: Promote our editorial content to maximize its reach and impact. Develop strategies to highlight our articles, reports, and insights, driving engagement and ensuring Via Satellite stays top of mind as the go-to resource for industry news and insights.


Sales Support: Collaborate closely with our sales team to create compelling marketing materials and campaigns that drive revenue growth. Provide insights and strategies to help them close deals and secure renewals.


Analytics & Reporting: Use your analytical skills to track, measure, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data to continuously improve our marketing efforts and results.


Copywriting: Craft compelling value proposition copy that resonates with our target audience. Develop engaging and persuasive content for our website, newsletters, social media, and other marketing channels focused on getting readers to take action.


Internal/House Ad Creation: Manage the creation, testing and deployment of all house ads promoting Via Satellite products and services.


Partnerships: Identify and secure media and event partnerships that enhance our brand visibility and audience reach. Build strong relationships with key industry players and leverage these connections to benefit Via Satellite.


Tradeshow Representation & Brand Ambassador: Represent Via Satellite at industry tradeshows and events, acting as a brand ambassador to showcase our leadership and build valuable connections within the industry.


Event Marketing: Manage social media, press relations, partnerships and the Downlink newsletter for the SATELLITE Conference & Exhibition.


Flexibility & Team Orientation: Thrive in a fast-paced environment and be ready to adapt to changing priorities. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals and drive overall success.


What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in B2B marketing, preferably in the media or tech industry.

Strong skills in audience development, digital marketing, and content marketing.

Excellent copywriting skills with a knack for creating persuasive and engaging content that gets readers to take action.

Proficient in analytics tools and able to derive insights from data to inform strategies.

Experience in supporting sales teams and creating marketing materials that drive conversions.
