As a Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for processing orders, sample process and documentation for the channel of business to which you are assigned and supporting other channels as directed. Additionally, this position supports the sales process by providing excellent customer service, administrative support and an understanding of company’s product portfolio. Strong computer skills and ability to analyze reports to accurately identify issues related to order processing will be essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Processes all orders with accuracy and timeliness. Works closely with production and logistics for order fulfillment.
- Communicates with Sales Management and customers on pricing information, sample requests, order confirmation, documentation and order statuses.
- Ownership of order process, production/logistic team communication and vendor portal to ensure accuracy of SKU data, establishing new items, pricing and creating promotional campaigns.
- Coordinates assigned events and trade shows. Accurately and thoroughly tracks spending and ensures all needed items are ordered in advance from sponsoring venue. Act as the logistics liaison to ensure timely shipping and arrival. May need to provide support outside of normal business hours during trade shows via phone communication and/or booth staffing.
- Accurate and detailed reporting as requested.
Job Duties
- Provides customer service to all new and existing customers both internal and external on product portfolio, company information, pricing inquiries and sample requests.
- Tracks performance to include sales, pricing, and inventory and to drive sales while maintaining strong profitability. Understands every aspect of the sales channel to which assigned.
- Communicates with Sales Management on activity of purchase orders.
- Coordinates with other departments for QA and Shipping documents. New item set up docs for GDSN and DOT, if applicable.
- Supports Sales team within other channels to include order processing, vacation coverage and customer service requests as needed.
- Runs and Creates reports in Microsoft Dynamics Nav, EDI, HubSpot, DOT, and PowerBI.
- Development and coordination of customer profiles, sales presentations, capabilities presentations – notes, follow-ups and sample requests.
- Provides customer service support to the consumer line via phone and email.
- Displays excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with customers and coworkers and including the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure.
- Works collaboratively and respectfully in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
- Strong time management practices, attention to detail and accuracy in all functions of job.
- Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance as assigned and approved by sales management.

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent in Marketing, Business or related field strongly preferred; minimum 2 years’ in customer service/sales administration.
Travel Requirement
This position does not require regular travel. There may be occasional travel for tradeshow activity, including the potential for evenings and weekends.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as margins, discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Computer Skills
Job requires specialized computer skills. Complete mastery with Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint. Must be adept at using various applications including database, spreadsheet, report writing, project management, graphics, word processing, communicate by email and use scheduling software.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to recognize and define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
