Credit Sales Specialist

New York, NY | Full-time


Our client is looking for a dynamic Credit Sales Specialist who will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities. In this role, you will be expected to research and target potential clients, generate leads, and nurture relationships with prospects. You will also be responsible for analyzing data and developing strategies to improve lead-generation efforts.

Essential Duties:

  • Identifying and generating new business leads through various channels including market research, cold calling, email campaigns, and social media
  • Provide marketing support in building a pipeline of leads to meet business plans, quotas and company objectives. Responsible for generating leads through various channels
  • Research and identify potential leads through various channels, including online research, social media, and networking events
  • Contact and qualify leads through phone calls, emails, and other communication methods
  • Develop and maintain a database of leads and prospects for future reference
  • Analyze and report on metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices for lead generation
  • Provide exceptional customer service to prospects and clients
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate leads
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.


The ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or comparable equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in financial services, especially client-facing roles preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in credit investing, credit analysis, an understanding of financial markets and the investor landscape
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and motivation to put these to work in a sales and marketing role
  • Experience working in Excel and PowerPoint. Some experience working with CRM databases would be useful
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in and promote a team-oriented environment.
