We're working with a top Transportation/3PL company in the Columbus region in search of a high caliber Sr. Transportation Manager. This is an opportunity to work with an excellent leader and company that's stable and strategically growing. Candidates that come from high volume transportation managing private fleets or company drivers will be highly preferred.

Responsibilities:


- Plans, directs, and oversees all transportation functions of the region

- Developing great relationships with the drivers and leaders of their client

- Monitor KPI metrics and analyze operational variables and implement solutions that positively impact account performance

- Ensures on-time delivery of products and services

- Ensures transportation operations meets or exceeds safety and regulatory standards


Qualifications:


- Bachelor's degree or equivalent management experience in the logistics field (5-10 years)

- Strong knowledge of dispatch operations, transportation management and logistics solutions with a broad knowledge of DOT rules and regulations


Skills/Abilities:


- Exceptional communication skills

- Excellent leadership abilities
