About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Transportation Project Manager to join our team at HNTB. As a key member of our infrastructure solutions team, you will be responsible for managing assigned projects throughout their full lifecycle, from development to delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Develop and manage project scope, budget, and schedule to ensure successful delivery of projects.
  • Client Liaison: Serve as the primary client liaison and manage the project team to deliver the scope, schedule, and budgets to completion and to the client's satisfaction.
  • Technical Discipline: Perform technical discipline tasks, including analysis, reports, design, specification, and production for assigned projects.
  • Project Staffing: Responsible for overseeing project staffing, including recruitment, development, retention, and succession of project staff.
  • Business Development: Partner with Client Service Leaders and pursuit champions to assist with business development, building client relationships, and pursuit efforts for mega and super mega projects.
Requirements
  • 4 years of successful management of engineering projects
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Engineering
  • 15 years relevant experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification
  • American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
