As the Senior Transportation Program Coordinator for the Great Lakes region, the selected candidate will oversee roadway enhancement and expansion initiatives within the transportation division, driving growth and nurturing the development of skilled team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Comprehend the extensive range of services provided by the company and enhance business opportunities by informing existing and prospective clients on how our offerings can fulfill their requirements.
  • Identify regulatory influences affecting our services and devise a strategy to position us at the forefront of these drivers in our sector.
  • Evaluate and understand contractual commitments prior to entering agreements and ensure adherence throughout project execution.
  • Manage large-scale, intricate projects involving multidisciplinary teams.
  • Establish and maintain client relationships as the primary contact for projects.
  • Formulate project strategy, scope of work, and budget while overseeing project timelines and financials.
  • Proactively manage Work In Progress (WIP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to align with company performance metrics.
  • Ensure overall project quality aligns with both company and professional standards.
  • Design and implement organizational policies and procedures.
  • Engage regularly with relevant professional associations and networking opportunities.
  • Interact, negotiate, and build trust with regulatory bodies.
  • Guide and mentor team members, fostering a culture of engagement and collaboration.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 5-10 years of experience in roadway enhancements with involvement in state transportation departments.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification required, with preferred pre-qualifications in:
    • Bicycle Facilities and Enhancements
    • Non-Complex Roadway Design
    • Complex Roadway Design
  • Demonstrated ability to lead project teams effectively.
