Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our market presence through strategic planning and effective relationship management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and business development, with a proven ability to bring on new business and then manage and grow the business as an on-going customer.
Tidewater Recruiting Associates is a boutique recruiting firm specializing in professional positions in industrial manufacturing. Our customers are spread across the US and range in positions from the VP level to experienced engineers, accountants, production and maintenance professionals. We were founded in 2008 and continue to grow.
This position will conduct business development while working from home located anywhere in the US. You will also manage and grow your accounts to become valued customers of Tidewater. The position will become more account management over time. You will be supported by a staff of recruiting experts who help fill the open positions at your customers allowing you to focus on new growth and management. The hours are flexible but basically 8-5.
Duties
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company goals.
- Identify new market opportunities and establish relationships with potential clients.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends and customer needs.
- Manage search projects from inception through execution, ensuring timely delivery of quality candidates.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple search projects effectively.
- Must have cold-calling our outbound sales experience.
- Executive Search/Placement or Staffing experience is preferred.
- Exceptional communication, relationship and organization skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
The main requirement for success in this position is a great attitude and work ethic. Base compensation of $40,000 to $50,000 and commission which will take you to $120,000 to $150,000+ per year. www.tidewaterrecruit.com
