Job Description 

Are you ready to take on a challenging role as a Deployment Engineer at Cumulus Digital Systems? Join us in revolutionizing the industrial workforce by building the Internet of Tools, connecting workers, tools, and data to drive safety and productivity in maintenance and construction. 

As a Mid-Level Deployment Engineer, you will partner with key business users to implement Cumulus products and services at customer facilities. Reporting to the General Manager for the Americas, you will manage and assist with site installations, training, maintenance, and test tasks. Your objective is to ensure customer success, maximize sell-through, and deliver exceptional value. 


Responsibilities: 

  • Provide expert knowledge of the Cumulus Platform and offer best-practice recommendations to customers and implementation partners. 
  • Participate in site pilots and full-scale implementations, ensuring the successful realization of Cumulus capabilities and value for the customer. 
  • Take ownership of customer issues and see problems through to resolution. 
  • Lead end-user training sessions to ensure a comprehensive understanding of Cumulus products and services. 
  • Prepare equipment for timely shipment to customer sites, including configuration and testing. 
  • Provide customer support prior to, during, and after field deployments. 
  • Monitor project progress relative to assigned tasks and regularly communicate progress to external and internal teams. 
  • Collaborate with Cumulus Sales, Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams to meet solution needs. 
  • Gather customer feedback and analyze their needs to provide valuable insights to our Product, Sales, and Marketing teams. 
  • Liaise with the sales department to drive new business and increase sales. 
  • Prepare process, installation, operating procedure, and user/trainer training documentation. 
  • Update and maintain project and software documentation in a timely manner. 
  • Properly escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams, such as Engineering. 
  • Follow up with customers to ensure timely resolution of technical issues. 


Requirements: 

  • Engineering Degree or equivalent experience. 
  • 2-4 years of previous experience in implementation or deployment of software and end-user training. 
  • A flexible self-starter with the ability to work effectively at all organizational levels. 
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills. 
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and servicing technical equipment. 
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing work schedules. 
  • Familiarity with mobile tools and applications. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to 50% of the time. 
  • Valid Passport.
