IPR Robotics, LLC. - The Hands and Feet of Robots specializes in custom designed end of arm tooling, standard EOAT components, and durable 7th axis robot rails. With over 30 years of experience, IPR Robotics is the leading global supplier of complex End of Arm Tooling (EOAT) for assembly and insertion tasks. The company is based in Shelby Township, MI, and offers a range of grippers, compliance wrists, alignment devices, tool changers, load limiters, force/torque sensors, and 7th axis robot rails that are compatible with all industrial robot brands.
Role Description
We are in a rapid growth phase and are looking for a seasoned and tenacious customer-focused individual that will play one of the most pivotal roles in our success going forward. This is a full-time role for a Regional Sales Manager at IPR Robotics. On-site, Hybrid, and Remote considered based on qualification. Initial area of focus will be the Great Lakes States with an emphasis on MI and OH, with continental U.S. coverage until future roles are filled.
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for generating and following up on leads, executing IPR's sales strategies, meeting sales targets, building and maintaining customer relationships, and providing product demonstrations and technical support to customers. The Regional Sales Manager will also collaborate with the Applications & Design Engineers and other departments to drive business growth and meet customer needs. Initially this role will report directly to the President of IPR Robotics, USA.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years experience in the Industrial Automation / Robotics market
- Proven track record in sales and business development
- Ability to thrive in a changing environment, where roles/responsibilities may grow/change over time
- Experience in the robotics industry or related field
- Strong knowledge of end of arm tooling (EOAT) and industrial robot systems is preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships
- Self-motivated and target-driven
- Willingness to travel and attend industry events, approximately 30-40%
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field is a plus, or relevant equivalent experience.
- Automation/Robotics Start-up Experience a Plus
