Job Description:

The Sales Engineer for Epic is responsible for managing existing and developing new key accounts. They are responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with end-user plants/corporate, engineering, and associated channel partners. They are also responsible for the achievement of our sales initiatives and targeted growth rates. The position requires the ability to work and communicate globally and virtually.


Job Responsibilities:

• Discovers key accounts by understanding key drivers and priorities for the customer, including customer system and product needs.

• Builds relationships with centers of influence within key accounts to grow the business.

• Develop and implement sales initiatives to achieve targeted growth rates.

• Ensures technical proposals are developed to ensure successful integration and integration into the customer environment.

• Recommends competitive positioning strategies.

• Develops and maintains knowledge of products, providing technical sales support as needed.


Qualifications:

• Requires a minimum of 5+ years of Automation or manufacturing experience.

• Knowledge and experience with the design, build, and manufacturing cycle.

• Knowledge of the various types of powertrain assembly equipment, with specificity to axles.

• Knowledge of the brands of tooling and purchased components.

• Experience in proposal preparation and quotation generation is desirable.

• Ability to understand technical products and effectively present to customers and management

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including facilitation, verbal, and written skills

• Self-starter, self-motivated, ability to work with minimal supervision

• High energy, strong interpersonal skills

• Understand and willing to change with the needs of the customer and markets

• Ability to work in teams maintaining a high level of communication and interaction

• Willingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally as needed
