Marijuana Farms New York (MFNY) is looking for a Regional Sales Manager (Eastern New York) to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who is looking to join the legal cannabis industry in New York. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and has a strong desire to close business.


The Regional Sales Manager's primary responsibility will be to support the Director of Sales in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth for the Capital Region, Mid-Hudson and Westchester areas. They will be involved in various sales activities, including order data entry, cold calling, and attending events. The role will require excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to customer engagement.


Responsibilities:


Order Data Entry

-Accurately enter and process sales orders into the company's database or CRM system.

-Verify order details, pricing, and customer information to ensure accuracy.

-Coordinate with other departments, such as logistics or operations, to facilitate smooth order processing and timely delivery.


Cold Calling

-Conduct outbound cold calls to prospective customers and incoming leads to identify potential sales opportunities.

-Introduce the company's products or services, provide information, and address customer inquiries.

-Qualify leads by assessing their needs, budget, and purchase intent, and effectively communicate the value proposition of the MFNY's offerings.

-Communicate findings to Director of Sales so appropriate sales matrix can be created


Event Attendance

-Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to represent MFNY and promote its products.

-Engage with attendees, demonstrate product knowledge, and build relationships with potential customers.

-Collect and record relevant customer information and follow up with leads generated during events.


Additional Sales Support

-Assist the Director of Sales in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.

-Collaborate with the Head of Brand and marketing department to ensure consistent messaging and support the execution of marketing campaigns.

-Provide post-sales support by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

- Coordinate with Social Media Manager/Brand Ambassador to conduct budtender trainings.


Sales Reporting and Analysis

-Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress in the CRM system.

-Prepare sales reports, analyze sales data, and provide insights to the Director of Sales and management.

-Identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges to improve sales strategies and achieve targets.


Requirements

-High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business or related fields is a plus.

-Proven experience in a sales support or customer service role is advantageous.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers effectively.

-Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

-Proficiency in using CRM systems, MS Office Suite (particularly Excel), and other relevant sales tools.

-Self-motivated and target-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Adaptability to changing business needs and willingness to learn about industry trends and product knowledge.

-Preferably located in the Mid Hudson Area, with the ability to regularly travel
