Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Collaborate with team and outside agencies to identify, prioritize, and execute PR
- and content opportunities
- Identify and capitalize opportunities for visibility at key global conferences
- Design, write, and distribute marketing communications
- Update and maintain websites and blog through WordPress and conduct quarterly cleanup of contact data
- Plan, promote, and execute monthly webinars (marketing copy and visuals, registration, operations, and post-event communications)
- Develop and maintain testimonial database
- Support strategic projects (RFP processes, agency reviews, brand positioning, key
- messaging, brand guidelines)
- Coordinate scientific journal publication process (planning, contracting with outside agency, submission tracking, and rights management)
- Edit videos in Adobe Suite and manage YouTube channel
- Manage email inboxes, triaging general inquiries and communication requests
- Represent team at key portfolio project manager meetings to provide process guidance and stay current on initiative plans (attending external forums, as necessary)
- Build knowledge and competencies through professional development opportunities,
- reviewing professional publications, and networking
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (marketing and communications coursework appreciated but not required)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing and communications
- HubSpot or equivalent email marketing platform proficiency
- Experience in pharmaceutical research and development and/or life sciences or similar industry preferred
- Experience evaluating conference opportunities, developing abstracts, and preparing
- briefing packs
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and analytics measurement
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, WordPress, SharePoint, and Excel
- Please be prepared to share samples of written and visual communications and complete a writing and editing test
