Position Overview
We are in search of a Senior Vice President, Retail Market Expansion to join our North American Business Development team. This pivotal role is essential for enhancing our corporate profile and effectiveness by strengthening our agency relationships and driving strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement critical business development strategies, including broker diversification and account targeting, in collaboration with our agency partners to optimize revenue streams.
- Act as the primary liaison for external agents and brokers, ensuring high-quality service and comprehensive support for their multiline needs.
- Lead initiatives to elevate our corporate reputation and operational effectiveness by:
- Managing key broker relationships strategically.
- Understanding their business models and supporting targeted marketing efforts.
- Developing previously untapped territories.
- Identifying and establishing new agency partnerships.
- Serve as a vital source of business intelligence and facilitate internal communications.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience, encompassing underwriting, product innovation, risk management, distribution strategy, and client relationship management.
- Well-established presence within the agency community, with a proven ability to cultivate relationships.
- In-depth knowledge of agents' and brokers' marketing and distribution strategies.
- Exceptional skills in business development, client engagement, and relationship management, including account retention and growth.
