Cardinal Engineering is currently seeking associate engineers to provide Environmental Qualification Testing (EQT) support of the Navy’s Surface Ship Torpedo Defense System program. Examples of the types of EQT to be performed include shock, vibration, Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), and humidity.


0 - 3 years experience and a B.S. degree required in Mechanical, Marine, Aerospace, and Electrical Engineering, or other technical disciplines with exposure to complex naval systems. Looking for team-oriented individuals to solve challenging problems. Successful candidates will participate in a small team to work through completion of system EQT. Training will be provided.


Candidates must be based in the U.S. Eastern time zone and be willing to travel to Cardinal facilities as required. Travel will be required in execution of assigned duties as testing is performed. Must be a US Citizen and currently possess or be capable of obtaining a SECRET security clearance. 


Candidate should have excellent communication skills both written and oral and be able to work well without supervision.


Salary commensurate with years and applicability of experience ranging from $80 -$95K.


The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Cardinal Engineering considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
