Skills

  • 8 years of electrical engineering design experience in the building services and construction industry
  • Experience in sectors such as Higher Education Museums Commercial Transportation Hubs and/or Stadiums
  • Proficiency in Revit
  • Familiarity with computational analysis tools like electrical fault analysis and lighting design software
  • Excellent technical knowledge of electrical systems
  • Strong clientfacing and communication skills both verbal and written
  • Problemsolving abilities with the capacity to provide multiple solutions to clients

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with clients architects and other engineers
  • Produce detailed design drawings electronic models specifications and reports
  • Manage workload of Project Discipline Engineers and Technicians
  • Prepare Technical Specifications and monitor the financial performance of jobs
  • Mentor junior Electrical Engineers
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and building codes
  • Proactively communicate and raise concerns regarding deadlines and workload

Qualifications

  • Relevant bachelor or masters degree
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification desirable
  • LEED AP accreditation preferred
