Overview

We are seeking a motivated IT Project Manager who is organized, dependable, and experienced working within a SAFe Agile environment. In this role, you will be leading the efforts in standardizing Jira usage across all scrum teams within the organization. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining Jira and Power BI dashboards to support the creation of a master pipeline that will streamline development processes. This role reports directly to the Senior IT Director.


Responsibilities

  • Jira Standardization: Lead the effort to standardize Jira across all projects, ensuring alignment with SAFe Agile standards. Create and maintain Jira dashboards for each project to track week-to-week and sprint-to-sprint changes.
  • Power BI Dashboard Creation: Develop and standardize Power BI dashboards, utilizing the Jira-Power BI connector to visualize data effectively. Create views that provide insights into development backlogs and pipeline changes.
  • Standards Creation: Establish and document standards for both Jira and Power BI usage within the organization. Work with each scrum team to implement these standards and ensure consistency.
  • IT Pipeline Management: Collaborate with scrum teams to create and manage backlogs, work in progress, testing, and deployment, ensuring they align with the newly established standards. Facilitate the creation of a master pipeline to streamline processes.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal USIC scrum teams to address urgent issues, schedule calls, and document processes. Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the organization.
  • Project Management: Provide ad-hoc project management support, including documentation and reporting. Handle urgent tasks that arise, ensuring they are addressed promptly and efficiently.


Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of related experience an IT Project Manager.
  • Enterprise-level experience delivering projects through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Extensive experience standardizing the usage of Jira and SAFe Agile principles.
  • Strong skills in creating Jira and Power BI dashboards.
  • Proven ability to create and document new standards and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across internal teams.
