HospitalityHQ is looking for a Director of Sales to oversee sales operations for a food hall location, focusing on event and catering sales. This role requires a dynamic and results-driven individual who can build strong relationships, develop a robust book of contacts, and aggressively convert business opportunities. The Director of Sales will work closely with operations, culinary, and marketing teams to ensure seamless event execution and effective promotional strategies.


Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Sales and Business Development:

·        Oversee all event and catering sales for a food hall location.

·        Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts and potential clients.

·        Aggressively pursue new business opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.

·        Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to contract signing.

Programming and Traffic Generation:

·        Develop and book engaging programming to drive increased traffic to the food halls.

·        Collaborate with internal teams to create and execute public events that attract and retain repeat visitors.

Collaboration and Coordination:

·        Work closely with vendors and culinary teams to ensure menu offerings meet client expectations.

·        Thoroughly detail BEOs and effectively communicate event details to Operations team to ensure successful events.

·        Partner with the marketing team to create effective sales collateral and identify additional sponsorship opportunities.

Client Relationship Management:

·        Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

·        Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales and event planning process. Effectively track all communications through Tripleseat.

Reporting and Analysis:

·        Accurately memorialize all event and catering revenue.

·        Analyze effectiveness of programming and activations.

·        Track sales metrics and provide regular reports on sales performance and market trends.

·        Analyze feedback and data to continuously improve sales strategies and event offerings.


Qualifications:

·        Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

·        Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality or food service industry.

·        Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

·        Strong network of contacts within the industry.

·        Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

·        Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

·        Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

·        Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
