Brand Marketing Manager
Summary: Reporting to the Senior Manager of Brand Marketing, this role is responsible for developing and executing strategies designed to enhance the brand experience through comprehensive messaging and marketing campaigns. The focus will be on two core pillars: Sustainability and Care. This position involves managing both owned and paid marketing channels to achieve campaign objectives, as well as overseeing multiple brand and cross-line-of-business marketing campaigns. The role requires close collaboration with internal and external agencies and partners on a global platform.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute brand strategies to drive business results across all owned and paid marketing channels.
- Navigate a complex organization with multiple businesses and product categories, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Integrate global strategies with local campaigns to create effective plans across various business categories for the U.S. market.
- Oversee the execution of campaigns aimed at driving awareness and connection with Gen Z and Millennial audiences.
- Collaborate with various lines of business to synchronize plans and ensure message breakthrough in the market.
- Support Brand Pillar leads in managing B2C campaign development for optimal in-market results.
- Partner with owned channels and Performance Marketing (Paid Media) teams to plan and align support for brand campaigns.
- Monitor and optimize campaigns in real-time, addressing issues promptly to drive actionable learnings and improve subsequent campaigns.
- Prepare and present content and analyses to inform decision-making and provide recommendations to the organization.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Digital Advertising, with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in brand marketing strategy and execution, preferably client-side in a CPG or tech company; agency-side experience will be considered.
- Strong background in D2C, Social Media, Performance Marketing, and CRM strategies.
- Experience in post-purchase customer care/service marketing, sustainability communications, and branding is preferred.
- Demonstrated business acumen and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with leadership and functional centers of excellence.
- Expertise in digital marketing, including developing and executing ROI-driven campaigns across major digital channels.
- Strong understanding of digital commerce and the ability to interpret digital analytics to drive strategy.
- Proven success in leading teams and building effective cross-functional relationships, including with global counterparts.
- Ability to lead complex projects and work effectively in a matrixed environment.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with the ability to scope and execute strategic initiatives.
- High energy, with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to act quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to direct teams clearly and concisely.
- Experience in developing marketing and sales presentations using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A problem-solver with an optimistic attitude and a passion for delivering results.
