Job description:


Sales Executives

Mainfreight is looking for enthusiastic, proactive and motivated Sales Leaders to join our ever-growing team across the USA.


We’re in the business of global logistics, but that doesn’t mean you need to have experience in the industry. If you have a positive attitude and you’re willing to learn, then our outside sales role could be perfect for you We’ll teach you everything you need to know about global logistics, while developing your sales skills in the business world.


Mainfreight provides logistics solutions to a wide range of customers. We import, export, warehouse and transport wholesale goods around the country and world This is a dynamic and fast paced industry where every day presents new challenges.


We started in little old New Zealand with a few thousand dollars and one truck back in the 70’s… now we’re a global business with offices all over the world and generating over $4 billion in revenue annually. We need sales executives with the same drive and determination that our founders built this company on.

Our Sales Executives:


  • Will achieve sales goals through building relationships with customers that are focused on finding solutions and adding value to the customers’ market
  • Identify leads in our target markets through referrals, cold calling, professional networking and existing customers
  • Qualify prospects through research and build relationships with decision makers, stakeholders and influencers at the prospect’s organization
  • Prepare for and conduct business meetings with clients including initial and follow up fact finding presentations, solution and SOP building that leads to closing and on boarding the client
  • Have an opportunity for significant growth in this position, in a professional and economic scope
  • We promote our team from within so we can provide many opportunities for our team to develop into management and senior leadership positions
