We are seeking a bright, well-organized individual with strong follow-up skills and a positive attitude to support our Human Resources team on various initiatives. This position is a great development opportunity for someone who wants to grow their HR career with an industry leader in the apparel manufacturing space.


Responsibilities:

  • Help drive the business by playing a role in managing all matters regarding HR.
  • Learn how to provide best-in-class coaching and counseling to help drive high-performing teams.
  • Help strategize and develop best practices to enhance the organization’s work experience and engagement.
  • Support HR Business Partner with onboarding and preparation for all new hires.
  • Help facilitate New Hire Process (i.e. creating offer letters, new hire orientation packets, etc.).
  • Maintain confidentiality of all corporate, personnel, legal, and financial matters.
  • Create and communicate various organizational announcements.
  • Analyze and maintain accurate HRIS reports/system.
  • Maintain and update organizational charts on a regular basis.
  • Process unemployment claims and employee verification letters.
  • Create and maintain employee files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
  • Support with other ad hoc projects/reports.
  • Take on various HR projects and initiatives.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 1+ years’ experience in a Human Resources function
  • Flexible to be on-site 2 days a week
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to grasp complex tasks and carry out directions independently
  • Must be well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple interruptions and adjust priorities throughout the day
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality / discretion in all workplace and HR matters
  • Knowledge of HR Information Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems a plus
  • Knowledge of HR employment related laws/practices is a plus


Annual salary is $55,000


The disclosed salary is commensurate with experience and does not reflect the total compensation package. Our associates have access to other valuable benefits that our Human Resources team is happy to share with candidates during the interview process.
