MMC Group is hiring for a Sales Manager for our client in Arlington, TX


The client is a seasonal decorations wholesaler to major retailers such as Michaels, Magnolia, At Home, etc.


Each season, customers are provided with a new array of items to choose from, with hundreds of new designs, in coordinating themes. With showroom locations to include Atlanta, Dallas, and Las Vegas, our client has taken on an array of new business, and is in the process of actively hiring, hence the need for a Sales Operations Manager to assist on day-to-day tasks within this rapidly growing company.


Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Sales Operations Manager will provide onsite management of the Special Accounts team in driving revenue growth, ensuring customer satisfaction and managing special accounts. This role will analyze data and sales statistics and improve business and marketing strategies. They will work closely with the Special Accounts team to prioritize workload and streamline work processes.

  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of customers, products, and business terms.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
  • Acquire a complete understanding of the customer’s needs, the marketplace, and sales trends.
  • Develop and improve sales processes for sales teams, specialists, and other representatives.
  • Research and analyze data to create sales forecasts.
  • Collaborate with other departments and upper management to identify business goals.
  • Identify customers and sales opportunities by analyzing sales data and consumer trends.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with the special/key accounts teams, operations specialists, other departments, and Senior Leadership.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in key account management in a wholesale environment, including knowledge of the product development process, communicating with overseas vendors, and identifying custom product opportunities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
  • Exceptional Excel skills and proficiency in all other Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word & PowerPoint)
  • Ability to collect, track, and analyze large amounts of data.
  • Ability to understand customer behaviors and industry trends.
  • Strong leadership skills to evaluate ongoing special accounts team performance and provide training and coaching when necessary.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for sales process improvements and develop and implement new strategies.
  • Financial skills and business acumen to understand sales profitability and opportunities.
  • Technology skills with an emphasis on NetSuite CRM and using database software tools in daily tasks.
  • Experience in analyzing sales data and consumer trends to create sales forecasts.


Pay: $95-100k
