You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust quality assurance systems, standards, and procedures that comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain quality assurance protocols to ensure compliance with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, SQF, BRC).
  • Lead investigations into product quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Conduct thorough audits of manufacturing processes, facilities, and suppliers to assess compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize statistical analysis and quality tools (e.g., SPC, Six Sigma) to monitor process performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams on quality-related matters, including new product development and process optimization.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless integration of quality requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Participate in customer and regulatory audits, addressing findings and implementing necessary corrective actions.
  • Mentor and train junior quality team members to foster a culture of quality excellence and continuous learning.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality engineering within the food & beverage manufacturing industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations (FDA, USDA) and industry standards (HACCP, GMP).
  • Proven track record of implementing quality systems and driving process improvements.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis and quality tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different levels of the organization.
  • Certification in quality management (e.g., CQE, Six Sigma) is a plus.
