Position: Plant Manager

Location: Onsite
- Manage daily operations of the production facility, ensuring adherence to production timelines and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Analyze and enhance production workflows to boost efficiency, minimize waste, and ensure consistent product quality.
- Guarantee the availability of essential resources, including raw materials and labor, to achieve production goals.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA regulations, and other pertinent industry standards.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs teams to prepare for audits and inspections.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and implement necessary changes for ongoing compliance.
- Establish and manage effective quality control systems to meet or exceed regulatory and customer expectations.
- Work with the Quality Assurance team to address and resolve quality-related issues.
- Encourage a culture of safety by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular audits.
- Implement environmental management initiatives to comply with sustainability goals.
- Lead efforts to minimize waste, emissions, and energy usage.
- Guide and develop a high-performing team of supervisors and production staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and create development plans for team members.
- Foster an inclusive work environment that promotes innovation and teamwork.
- Oversee the plant's budget, focusing on labor, materials, and maintenance costs.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining product quality.
- Prepare and present operational reports to senior management, highlighting performance metrics.
- Coordinate with supply chain teams for timely procurement of materials.
- Manage inventory to align production needs with cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve material quality or delivery issues.
- Ensure the maintenance and reliability of manufacturing equipment.
- Plan and execute upgrades or installations to meet production demands.
- Maintain facility compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in plant efficiency and product quality.
- Stay informed about industry trends and implement relevant innovations.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry, Business Management, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Thorough understanding of GMP, FDA regulations, and relevant industry standards.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills focused on continuous improvement.
