Job Overview

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will play a crucial role in the growth and expansion of our company by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Your main responsibility will be to generate and qualify leads, setting the stage for successful sales conversions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is motivated by targets and thrives in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Identify potential clients through research, networking, cold calling, and email outreach.
  • Prospecting: Initiate and develop new business relationships with potential customers through inbound and outbound sales efforts.
  • Qualification: Assess prospects’ needs, qualify leads, and pass along to account executives or senior sales representatives.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain and update CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system with accurate prospect information, managing a healthy pipeline of opportunities.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and industry developments to position the company’s solutions effectively.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to execute campaigns and coordinate efforts to drive new business.
  • Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on lead generation activities and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Follow-ups: Follow up on marketing leads, inquiries, and outreach to convert them into qualified sales opportunities.


Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role (B2B experience is preferred).
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with prospects quickly.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Solid organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • High level of motivation, energy, and a results-oriented attitude.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the industry or target market.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Experience with outbound sales tactics, such as cold calling and email prospecting.
  • Ability to quickly grasp and communicate complex product offerings.
