In-Flight Crew Connections’ Client, a privately owned Part 91, DAL-based flight department, is seeking a dedicated and professional Aviation Assistant to join their esteemed team. This individual will be a versatile "Jack-of-all-trades" who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment.


This IS-BAO-certified flight department is renowned for its close-knit, motivated, and adaptive group of professionals. We prioritize finding someone who will seamlessly integrate into our team, valuing personal qualities above all else.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Support all areas and aspects of the aviation department, outside of flying.
  • Trip scheduling, as a backup to the Flight Operations Coordinator.
  • Crew scheduling, as a backup to the Flight Operations Coordinator.


Departures/Arrivals and Maintenance Assistance:


Role Overview: The assistant for Departures, Arrivals, and Maintenance of a private aircraft plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the aircraft. This position involves coordinating logistics, overseeing aircraft readiness, and managing maintenance schedules to guarantee safe and efficient travel.


Stock Management:

  • Communicate with the Flight Operations Coordinator
  • Safety Checks
  • Managing all inventory
  • Maintain and monitor expiration dates
  • Replace expired stock in bins and aircraft
  • Ensuring the Cabin is clean and comfortable
  • Sourcing specific items for the aircraft or the passenger
  • Shopping for the aircraft pantry
  • Planning menus and ordering catering
  • Restocking all supplies


Additional Duties:

  • Assist and shadow the Flight Operations Coordinator
  • Maintain and organize hangar floors
  • Inspect and clean hangar equipment
  • Wash and gas up vehicles
  • Flexible availability with schedule i.e. If there are no flights or any work to be done on a Tuesday, but there is a heavy full day on Saturday, you would flex your schedule to take Tuesday off, and work on Saturday.


Qualifications:

  • Strong adaptability and willingness to assist in various tasks.
  • Strong work ethic, someone who takes the initiative
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Prior experience in an aviation setting is a plus, but not required.
