Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in all phases of the design process, from conceptual design to construction administration.
  • Generate creative design solutions that meet the functional parameters of each project.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and project delivery teams through regular communication and collaboration.
  • Utilize industry-standard software to create graphics and presentation materials.
  • Support the integration of the design process with other workflows and project tasks.
  • Collaborate with project teams to champion design concepts throughout the project.
  • Execute coordination and integration of construction and consultant documents.
  • Apply knowledge of construction methods and timelines to ensure project success.
  • Conduct field verification and site visits as needed.
  • Maintain awareness of new methodologies, practices, codes, and products.
  • Actively contribute to the production of major components of a thorough set of construction documents.
  • Assist with contract administration responsibilities.
  • Translate concepts and information into images.
  • Participate in the process of exploring and completing usable detailing solutions.
Requirements
  • Degree from a NAAB-accredited architecture program or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of experience in commercial design, with a strong preference for aviation experience.
  • Team-oriented, highly motivated individual seeking progressively more responsible assignments on a variety of projects.
  • Strong design portfolio showcasing strengths in conceptual design, space planning skills, and detailing.
  • Revit proficiency and technical excellence, with experience with other 3D software preferred.
  • Interest in sustainable design.
  • Professional registration or anticipation of registration.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Flexible attitude.
  • Ability to collaborate in a diverse project team environment.
  • Confident presentation ability.
  • Candidates should be familiar with coordinating project deliverables and clients.
  • Experience preparing all stages of design documentation, performing construction administration, and consultant coordination are required.
  • Willingness to travel is strongly preferred.
