Business Development Representative

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interact by phone and email with key personnel up to, and including, C-Level executives
- Self-generate high value leads by collecting business intelligence and identifying key decision makers
- Qualify inbound marketing sourced leads by collecting business intelligence and identifying key decision makers
- Work with experienced sales reps to identify and set meetings with high quality prospects
- Solution selling; effectively present solutions through cost-benefit analysis
- Present a streamlined technology solution developing a detailed analysis of customized needs in challenging areas and lanes

- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Proven success in generating/qualifying leads through prospecting new business with a ‘hunter’ mentality

- Effective communicator with strong business acumen and intuition
- Self-starter with strong organization & presentation skills

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

- Ability to travel on a weekly basis within the district
- Attention to detail to drive profitability
- Ability to think strategically about the personal impact to the client's long-term business strategy
- Team-oriented peer, with a thirst to compete to be the most valuable player
- Business Degree, or equivalent experience
- New grads encouraged to apply
WHAT WE OFFER:
- A competitive starting BASE SALARY in the mid-40s
- Fast track bonus opportunity for leads generated during first 3 month ramp up
- Bonus/commission based on 5-week average margin after ramp
- Promotion opportunity to BDR 2 in 6-12 months, Account Executive in 18 - 24 months, sooner based on performance.
