Our client, a National Legal Service Company is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to grow a book of business in the Boston Metropolitan and surrounding area. Company offers end-to-end legal support services to law firms, corporations, and governmental agencies throughout the nation and provides service in the Court Reporting, Record Retrieval, Jury Research, Litigation Graphics, and Language Services business.
This is a REMOTE position; however, you MUST live in the Boston, MA area to qualify for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting new clients by phone, in person, using social media, and other methods.
- Attend industry trade shows and conferences.
- Canvas, prospect, and present services in a sales territory that will include Las Vegas and the surrounding areas.
- Deliver on KPI's and activity benchmarks.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competition both locally and nationally.
- Produce accurate prospective new business forecasts on a monthly basis.
- Continue to grow and cultivate book of business upselling legal services.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 3 - 4 years' prior business development experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies. Interpersonal skills/experienced at building business relationships. Focused and goal-oriented with a hunter mentality.
Compensation:
Generous Base Salary plus an UNCAPPED industry-leading commission structure. Base Salary 65-75k+ commensurate with exp., plus uncapped commission/income potential. Target 1st year all in comp at plan 125k+.
