Position Summary
As Studio71's Manager of Music & Content Operations, you will play a profound role in Studio71's music rights & content management business, including digital supply chain oversight and content creator support. You will work on improvements to monetization and copyright protection for our clients with a focus on user-generated content platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute projects to support the company's music & entertainment strategy in service of creators’ unique needs
- Accurately represent Studio71’s music rights and content management capabilities in client-facing meetings and calls
- Assert Studio71’s music and video rights in User Generated Content on YouTube and other platforms
- Serve as a support contact for operational issues pertaining to specific partner requests
- Maintain quality assurance of video and audio media delivered to platforms such as YouTube, Spotify, Facebook, and Apple Music
- Develop a personal expertise in the information, knowledge, and current events of the music and creator industries
- Train new and existing Music & Content Operations teammates on process improvements and developments
Experience & Skills:
- You have at least 3 years of experience in digital rights management, ideally within a high-volume distribution or DSP environment
- You have the ability to understand strategic directives and how they break down into deliverable projects
- You have existing fluency with YouTube CMS, Facebook Rights Manager, and other digital media equivalents
- You have a functional proficiency with MS Excel, Dropbox, FTP, DDEX, MRSS
- You have an understanding of digital media assets and the claiming process as it pertains to YouTube, Facebook, and other services where UGC proliferates
- You have a personal passion and respect for content creators in all their forms and formats
Bonus:
- Existing YouTube Content Ownership and Asset Monetization certifications
- Experience using Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, etc. to process large data sets
- Previous internship management and task delegation experience
- Relationships with partner operations managers at social media and/or streaming media platforms
