Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, review, and coordinate required documents and information pertaining to contracting requests, projects, and the management of contracts and related areas.
  • Obtain and verify required documentation from existing and potential providers for contracts and credentialing.
  • Manage departmental email boxes used by internal and external customers for request submissions, status updates, etc.
  • Handle incoming fax requests from provider offices.
  • Understand terminology and the processes and policies encountered in contracts from Medicare and Medicaid business requirements.
  • Draft letters and documents related to the preparation of contract documents.
  • Track all incoming and updated information related to contract requests or data updates and assign them to the appropriate contract specialist or network operations representative.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records.
  • Resolve problems and make decisions following departmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintain databases; collect, track, prepare, compile, and distribute statistical data as required.
  • Provide statistical reports and maintain records of requests for qualifying healthcare professionals for all product services offered by Medicaid Business Segment Products.
  • Support contract specialists to ensure successful completion of the contracting process, including loading and system verification.
  • Identify gaps by network analysis and risk in the contracting process; coordinate with multiple departments to ensure the contracting process is completed timely and accurately, adhering to established standards and guidelines set by Regulators and HC policies.
  • Navigate effectively through the system of record to ensure all information and documents are verified promptly.


Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of office experience, including customer service.
  • Understanding of provider networks, including provider specialties and hospitals.
  • Knowledge of ICD10, CPT, HCPC, and Revenue Codes.
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets and database software
  • Experience with Managed Care Organization; credentialing/contracts is a PLUS


Required Education:

  • High-School Diploma
