Director of Finance & Administration

The Director of Finance & Administration will oversee and manage the Network's organizational functions of finance, budgeting, accounting, and human resources and will possess a strong understanding of accounting, budget planning, working closely with the Senior VP Finance to develop strategic goals & objectives for a growing and virtual clean energy nonprofit.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly/quarterly reports, develop and provide revenue + spending projections with analysis with the Senior VP Finance.
  • Develop the Network's fiscal year budget incorporating lessons learned from previous budgets Plan strategic initiatives
  • Create + develop detailed and summarized budget reviews for the CEO & Senior staff.
  • Work with Network auditor and external accountant to coordinate timely audit activities and annual tax reporting.
  • Ensure accurate processing of employee payroll and pension distribution & coordinate annual enrollment for health benefits; track and administer plans and other staff benefits


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related organizational development studies. CPA preferred. Degree with combination of work experience and education will be considered.
  • Nonprofit association and audit experience preferred
  • Senior level experience (7+ years) & experience managing projects with cross-functional teams.
